The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) will be Organizing, The 86th Academy Awards ceremony which will honour the best films of 2013, this ceremony will take place on March 2nd , 2014, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) will be presenting Academy Awards of Merit (also Called the OSCARS) in 24 categories . Ellen DeGeneres , who hosted the 2013 ceremony will host it this year, this would be the third time she would be hosting this event (She previously hosted the 79th ceremony in 2007) . Taking charge with the most nominations is “American Hustle” and “12 Years a Slave“, with “Gravity” also coming in with a large amount of nominations.
