FIFA announced in Rio on Thursday that this years official World cup anthem “We Are One” would be sang by American pop music stars Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull. Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte, a judge on the Brazilian version of  The Voice will also be joining the team so as to help add the samba flavour to the song. The Secretary General of FIFA,  Jerome Valcke was with Pitbull and Claudia Leitte  at the Maracana stadium to make the announcement. The single will be released in a matter of weeks and is expected to include English, Spanish and Portuguese lyrics in order to have global appeal.
