Actress, Singer and Philanthropist; Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde born on the 7th of February 1978. Having stared in over 300 moves in Nollywood**, She could easily be regarded as one of the hardest working actress in the world . As a veteran in the Nollywood Film Industry, she has successfully become the most watched actress in Africa. Her philanthropic and social efforts include; Save The Children UK, Enough is Enough and Amnesty International. Working for causes like the Maternal Mortality struggle in Sierra-Leone and the Own Up, Pay Up and Clean Up campaign for Niger Delta. She powers her NGO project; the Omotola Youth Empowerment Project (OYEP) which brings hundreds of youths together for the Empowerment Walk and Convention. One of the programme’s famous project is the “20 Widows Makeover”. The programme received a nomination for Best Charity/Cause Related Event at the Nigerian Event Awards in 2012 and continues to operate in remembrance of Omotola’s late Mother. Omotola is a UN ambassador for the World Food Programme (WHO) and she is married to Captain Ekehinde (A Pilot ).  She  became the first Nigerian and African Celebrity to hit the one million ‘Facebook Likes’ mark. In 2013, she was named one of  TIME Magazine’s Most Influential People in the World.
